MutedCo is a design brand with a vision to make great design easily accessible to everyone. We collaborate with talented designers, and manufacturers and work closely with local vendors sourcing globally to offer consumers approachable modern designs. We believe that our biggest exposure to modern slavery lies in our product supply chains in Asia and Eastern Europe. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically with integrity in all of our business dealings.

 

MODERN SLAVERY ACT S 2-11

"This enactment enacts the Modern Slavery Act, which imposes an obligation on certain entities to report on the measures taken to prevent and reduce the risk that forced labour or child labour is used at any step in the production of goods in Canada or elsewhere by the entity or in the production of goods imported into Canada. The Act provides for an inspection regime and gives the Minister the power to require an entity to provide certain information."
